We are pleased to announce that the IACP Foundations’ Survivors Education Law Enforcement Trust (SELECT) scholarship program is currently accepting applications for the start of the 2014-15 school year. To download an application click here, SELECT application.

In keeping with the mission of the Foundation, to support injured and fallen officers and their families, the SELECT program is dedicated to paying tribute to family members of law enforcement officers killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. Through the SELECT program, family members are able to support the continuing education needs of their dependents by applying for scholarships that can be applied towards the financial cost of college.
It is through the gracious generosity of our donors that four scholarships will be awarded for the 2014 academic year: the Dave Cameron Memorial Scholarship ($1,000), the Charles and Claire Blauer Scholarship ($1,000), the IACP Foundation Scholarship ($2,500) and the Hubie Perez Memorial Scholarship ($5,000) which is endowed by LexisNexis.

It is a great honor that the IACP Foundation can pay our respects to law enforcement officers who have been permanently disabled during the course of duty and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It is also our hope that with help from the SELECT program, survivors and family members can have some financial assistance in fulfilling their educational goals.
